GAINESVILLE – North Texas Medical Center is proud to welcome Tania LeMons to the position of Chief Financial Officer. She takes over for Shelle Diehm, who recently announced her retirement.
“I’m thrilled to join the NTMC family and very excited to be part of the future of the hospital,” LeMons said.
LeMons comes to NTMC with years of experience in healthcare finance. Most recently, she served as the Finance Manager with Texas Health Hospital Frisco. Before that, she was the Vice-President of Hospital Productivity and Accounting with Community Hospital Corporation, the company that operates and manages NTMC. She has also served as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer of the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System in Tyler.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Tania’s experience join our team,” said NTMC Chief Executive Officer Tom Sledge. “Her familiarity with our organization resulting from her previous tenure with Community Hospital Corporation will be a huge benefit as we make the transition in such an important role.”
LeMons has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University. She also attended Kilgore College where she was a member of the world-famous Kilgore Rangerettes drill team. She and her husband live in Collinsville.
